FBI arrests three top fugitives under Trump administration
The FBI has reported significant arrests since President Donald Trump took office. Three criminals from the FBI's 'Ten Most Wanted Fugitives' list have been apprehended. FBI Director Kash Patel announced the arrests in a recent statement. He credited the new administration for providing law enforcement the support needed to capture these fugitives. Patel expressed confidence, stating, “When you let good cops be good cops, this is what happens.” Among those arrested is Francisco Javier Román Bardales, a 47-year-old leader of the MS-13 gang. He faces serious charges, including drug distribution and extortion. Bardales was captured in Mexico and then deported to New York. Two other fugitives from the list were also apprehended recently. Arnoldo Jimenez was arrested in Mexico in January. He is accused of murdering his wife shortly after their wedding. Donald Eugene Fields II was arrested during a traffic stop in Florida and faces child abuse charges. Additionally, Justin Smith, who allegedly murdered his pregnant girlfriend in 2021, was identified and arrested this month. The FBI continues its efforts to capture more fugitives, promising that “the hunt is on.”
