FBI releases new photo of Canadian former Olympian wanted for drug-related murders
The FBI has released a new photo of Ryan James Wedding, a former Canadian Olympic snowboarder, who is wanted for leading a drug-trafficking network and ordering multiple murders. The updated image shows him with shorter hair compared to a previous photo. Wedding, 43, is accused of orchestrating killings in Canada and is linked to a drug ring that smuggled over 1,800 kilograms of cocaine across North America. He is believed to be hiding in Mexico and faces eight charges, including three counts of murder. U.S. authorities have been aware of Wedding's location since January 2024 but have not yet apprehended him. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
