Fenom unbanned on Twitch after one-year suspension
Twitch streamer Fenom has been unbanned, over a year after a heated exchange with a stalker led to his suspension. Fenom, who has more than 20,000 followers, was banned in November 2023 for his reaction to repeated harassment during a live stream of Counter-Strike. The trouble began when a viewer, who had been previously banned multiple times, continued to send inappropriate comments to Fenom. Frustrated, he responded aggressively, prompting the viewer to report him for threats. Twitch initially banned Fenom for six months, but later extended the ban to a full year, which left him upset with the platform. During his ban, Fenom streamed on a different platform called Kick, but on March 18, 2025, he was finally reinstated on Twitch. He has not yet commented on his unban. The reinstatement comes after Twitch announced new rules allowing some bans to have expiration dates. This change means that streamers can appeal for reinstatement after a certain period. Fenom's case may be the first of many as other streamers, like Adin Ross, are also seeking to return to the platform.
