Ferdinando's Focacceria to reopen with new ownership
Ferdinando’s Focacceria will reopen under new ownership and a different name after closing last month. Sal Lamboglia, known for his Brooklyn restaurants, will honor the legacy of the 121-year-old Sicilian eatery. Lamboglia's restaurant group plans to introduce a new concept, but details about the menu and opening date are not yet available. The previous owner, Francesco Buffa, sought an experienced operator for the restaurant's future. Lamboglia has opened several successful restaurants in the area, including Café Spaghetti and Swoony’s. Further announcements regarding the new restaurant are expected in the coming weeks.
