Jeff Celentano and Warren Ostergard, known for their work on the film The Hill, are partnering with Walk Like A Duck Entertainment for a new sports drama titled A Bridge Between. The film tells the true story of a young basketball player, Anthony Hodges, who faces challenges in reclaiming his identity after a serious car accident. In the story, Anthony deals with both physical injuries and emotional doubts about his future in basketball. He meets Bobby Verdun, a former coach who becomes a mentor. Bobby shares his own life struggles, creating a bond that helps Anthony on his journey toward recovery and finding purpose. The screenplay is written by Bobby Verdun and Rob Goodrich, while Celentano will direct. The movie will be produced by Goodrich and Jay Armstrong through their Walk Like A Duck Entertainment company, in cooperation with Enliven Content. Casting is currently underway, managed by Lisa Beach, well-known for her work on films like Wedding Crashers and Walk the Line. Filming is scheduled to start next month in Charlotte, North Carolina.
