Filming for "Fing!" has started in Queensland

Stan's Original Film "Fing!" is now filming in Queensland, Australia. The movie stars Taika Waititi, Mia Wasikowska, and Richard Roxburgh. It is based on a children’s book by comedian David Walliams. The film follows a young girl named Myrtle, played by newcomer Iona Bell. Myrtle embarks on a quest to find a mysterious creature called a 'Fing'. This adventure takes her and her parents deep into a wild jungle. The characters Mr. and Mrs. Meek, her loving parents, are portrayed by Blake Harrison and Mia Wasikowska. Taika Waititi plays the villainous character known as The Viscount. He has his own plans for the 'Fing' that conflict with Myrtle's search. David Walliams not only stars in the film but also wrote the screenplay, working alongside writer Kevin Cecil. The film is directed by Jeffrey Walker, who has experience in fantasy films. No release date for "Fing!" has been set yet, but it will be available in theaters and on streaming platforms Stan and Sky (UK).
