Fire in Hartford displaces 13, two hospitalized
A fire broke out at a three-story multifamily home on Sharon Street in Hartford early Tuesday morning. Firefighters quickly responded to the scene in the Blue Hills neighborhood. Fire officials reported that two people were hospitalized due to the incident. One resident was treated for possible smoke inhalation, while a firefighter suffered a minor injury. Thankfully, all other residents were able to escape safely. Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames but managed to extinguish the fire swiftly. The situation was brought under control, preventing further damage. The Hartford Special Services Unit is now working with the American Red Cross. They are helping three families who have been displaced by the fire, which includes nine adults and four children.
