Fire in Mandaluyong City kills one, injures four
A fire in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, resulted in one death and four injuries on Monday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported. The fire was first reported around 6 a.m. along JP Rizal Street in Barangay Namayan. The fire quickly escalated, reaching the first alarm at 6:16 a.m. and the second alarm by 6:53 a.m. Firefighters managed to control the blaze by 8:18 a.m. The BFP has not disclosed the name of the person who died. However, they did identify the injured as Jandie Ramos Abaluna, 29; Enzo Agustin, 21; Grace Ann Javido, 54; and Regie Garce, 55. Officials have not yet provided details on the damage or the cause of the fire.
