Fire in Pasig City kills one and displaces 60 families

A fire in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, on Sunday resulted in one death and one injury. The Bureau of Fire Protection reported that 30 houses were damaged, displacing 60 families. The fire started at 3:47 a.m. and escalated to a second alarm by 4:02 a.m. It was declared under control by 5:49 a.m. and fully extinguished by 6:23 a.m. Damage is estimated at P1 million, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
