Fire kills two young brothers in Patna
A tragic fire in the Gaurichak area of Patna took the lives of two young brothers on Sunday night. The boys, Sunny Kumar, aged 8, and Aditya Kumar, aged 4, were asleep with their family when the fire started in their hut. The fire quickly spread to two nearby huts, causing widespread panic. The intensity of the flames destroyed everything in their path, leaving affected families without their belongings. Family members managed to escape, but the two brothers could not. Local residents quickly called for help, and three fire tenders were sent to the scene. Firefighters worked for several hours to control the blaze. Arun Kumar, the police station in charge, indicated that the fire likely started from smoldering embers in a cooking stove. An investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause. The bodies of the deceased children were sent to Nalanda Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. The surviving family members, including their father Sudhir Nat, are heartbroken. They have lived in the area for many years and are now struggling to cope with their loss and the destruction of their home. Two other individuals suffered burn injuries and are receiving treatment.
