Firefighter injured in Manchester house fire
A firefighter was injured while fighting a house fire in Manchester on Sunday. The firefighter was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. The fire occurred at 153 Highland St. around 1 p.m. and was reported by a neighbor. The Manchester Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire, which was on the first floor. The house was unoccupied, and two adults were displaced. They are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross. The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
