The new version is directed by Andrew Ahn and features a script co-written with James Schamus, who worked on the original film. It includes a cast of notable actors, including Kelly Marie Tran and Yuh-jung Youn. Bleecker Street and ShivHans Pictures acquired the North American rights earlier this year.
