Five dead in passenger coach accident in AJK
Five people died and three were injured when a passenger coach fell into a ravine in Haveli district, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on March 16, 2025. The coach skidded off a frost-covered road while traveling from Forward Kahuta to Rawalpindi. Four male passengers died instantly, while a woman later died from her injuries. The driver lost control of the vehicle after it became stuck on a snowy track. He jumped out before the coach plunged over 200 meters. The deceased have been identified, and the injured are receiving treatment. Local officials expressed condolences to the victims' families. This incident follows a series of accidents in AJK during the winter months.
