Fivio Foreign jailed in New Jersey on serious charges

Fivio Foreign, a well-known rapper, has been in a New Jersey jail since January. He faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon and making terroristic threats. His attorney, Adam Lustberg, claims that the case against Fivio is very weak. Lustberg, who has worked with Fivio for years, expects him to be released in a few months. The charges stem from an incident on New Year's Day, where Fivio is accused of pointing a gun at a woman who asked him for help with a car jumpstart. According to police reports, Fivio threatened the woman, saying there would be "a problem" if she parked in front of his building again. Witnesses recognized Fivio and called the police. Officers say they have surveillance footage that supports the woman's account. Fivio was arrested on January 18 and is facing five charges. Despite the allegations, Lustberg notes that no gun was found during the investigation. Meanwhile, Fivio recently released a new collaboration with another artist but has not been available for promotions due to his legal situation.
