Flexbar launches as standalone device reviving MacBook Pro's Touch Bar concept
The Flexbar is a new standalone device that revives the concept of Apple's Touch Bar. Unlike the original, it connects via USB and works with various devices, including desktops, laptops, and tablets. Created by a team of engineers under the company Eniac, the Flexbar is available for preorder on Kickstarter. Early backers can purchase it for $119, with expected delivery in February 2025. The Flexbar offers more customization than the original Touch Bar. It features a 10-inch 2K OLED screen and provides dynamic access to shortcuts and tools, adapting as users switch between applications.
