Flight Club plans 45 new venues by 2030
Red Engine, the company behind Flight Club and Electric Shuffle, plans to open 45 new venues over the next five years. This move is in response to the growing popularity of competitive social activities. Flight Club features darts games, while Electric Shuffle focuses on shuffleboard, both combining games with dining experiences. This year, Red Engine aims to open six new Flight Club locations and two new Electric Shuffle venues, bringing the total to 39 sites. The company ultimately hopes to expand to 84 venues by the end of 2030, using both company-owned and licensed partner sites. CEO Steve Moore emphasized the importance of strategic growth. He noted that each new location needs to fit well with the community and brand. This expansion will help strengthen the global presence of Flight Club and Electric Shuffle. On Tuesday, Red Engine reported a 15% increase in revenues, reaching £77.1 million for 2024 compared to the previous year. Earnings are projected to exceed £12 million, up from 2023. Chief Financial Officer Ross Shepley-Smith expressed satisfaction with these results, especially in a challenging hospitality sector. He credited the success to strong partnerships and the hard work of the team dedicated to providing great customer experiences.
