Floyd Howard Abramson passed away at 93 in Chicago

Floyd Howard Abramson, age 93, passed away on March 19, 2025. He was married to Elaine Abramson and was previously married to Jane Beber Abramson. Floyd is survived by his children, Anne Abramson, Paul Abramson, Amy Abramson, and Dr. Rachel Abramson. He was also a grandfather to Fern Jane Abramson-Slater and Gabriel Abramson-Slater. Additionally, he was a stepfather to Susan Lucas and Lisa Koenigsberg, and had several step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on March 23, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Chicago Sinai Congregation in Chicago, Illinois. The interment will be private.
