The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has warned about heavy fog affecting roads in the UAE. This thick fog is causing poor visibility, especially on key routes. Conditions are expected to remain low until 9 am today, March 18. Drivers are urged to be very careful while traveling. The fog is particularly dense on the Al Ain – Abu Dhabi road, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road, and the Abu Dhabi – Dubai highway. Areas around Al Khatim, Arjan, and Al Taweelah in Abu Dhabi, as well as Sweihan in Al Ain and parts of Dubai, are also impacted. Motorists are encouraged to stay alert and adjust their speeds. Looking at the weather for the rest of the day, skies will be fair to partly cloudy. Some areas in the east and north may experience cloudiness. Temperatures will be moderate, ranging from 28°C to 33°C in internal regions. Coastal areas and islands will see temperatures of about 26°C to 30°C. Mountain regions will have temperatures between 25°C and 29°C. Humidity is expected to rise during the night and into Wednesday morning, especially in northern parts of the country. Winds will be light to moderate, gusting up to 35 km/h in some areas. The sea is expected to be mild with slight waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
