Forest Acres to host Big Nosh Jewish food festival

The Tree of Life Congregation in Forest Acres is hosting its annual Big Nosh Jewish food festival this weekend. It takes place on March 30 at 11 a.m. This festival aims to bring together people from all backgrounds. Visitors can enjoy traditional Jewish foods like brisket and latkes for $12 to $18. They can also buy baked goods and tour the synagogue. Meals can be enjoyed on-site or taken to-go. The food is prepared by 15 to 20 volunteers, who will cook more than 50 briskets using a special sauce. The Big Nosh began as a small gathering and has grown into a larger community event. It now features tours and live music, making it an exhibition of Jewish culture. Organizers hope to offer a welcoming environment for everyone.
