Former Brisbane Lions player Aaron Shattock in critical condition after excavator accident

Former Brisbane Lions player Aaron Shattock is in critical condition after being pinned under an excavator on his Gold Coast property. Emergency services found him trapped around 1:30 PM on Sunday. Shattock, 44, was working when the excavator rolled over him. He suffered major life-threatening injuries to his chest. He was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment. The duration he was trapped remains unknown.
