Fortnite players find exploit for quick quest completion
Players have found a way to complete the new Boons & Medallions quest in Fortnite much faster than intended. This shortcut allows players to use just one medallion to finish the challenge easily and earn rewards. The exploit was discovered by a fan named iFireMonkey. It works by letting players drop and pick up a medallion. This tricks the game into thinking they have collected a new one. Players can repeat this process to quickly finish the quest and gain experience points. However, Epic Games, the company behind Fortnite, is expected to patch this exploit soon. Once they do, players will not be able to use this method to complete the quest effortlessly. Typically, players must defeat a boss or another player to collect a medallion, or buy boons from Black Markets. This usual method can be time-consuming. The new exploit makes it much easier to collect medallions and finish the quest. Fortnite is currently in Chapter 6 Season 2, which features new skins like Lara Croft. The season has a theme of Outlaws, aligning with the exploit's rule-bending nature. A new season will begin on May 2, bringing more changes and challenges. Players are encouraged to make the most of the current quests, as they will not be available after the new season starts.
