Fortnite to enhance cosmetics with new footwear customization

Fortnite is about to make a big change to its cosmetic items. Epic Games, the developer, plans to improve how players can customize their characters. Many players may even receive new cosmetics for free. The game has evolved a lot since it started over seven years ago. Epic Games pays attention to player feedback and continually adds new features. Fortnite remains popular, with millions of people playing every day. Recently, Epic offered a refund to players who bought specific items like the Rap Boy Reloaded skin and Air Jordan 3 SE Unite Kicks. Players received 1,000 V-Bucks back, which was a nice surprise. This refund hints at an exciting upcoming change to how cosmetics work. Soon, players might be able to use certain Kicks with different skins. For instance, if a player owns the Maya skin, they could mix and match her boots with other outfits. This would make Kicks interchangeable, similar to how back blings work now. While Epic has only hinted at this new feature, they may reveal more on March 25 during the next Fortnite update. The company plans for over 95% of skins to support this feature by Spring 2025, promising a more customizable experience for players.
