Delhi Police have arrested four people, including the wife of a gangster, in connection with an extortion case in the Dwarka area of New Delhi. The arrested individuals are identified as Vikas alias Vicky, Rohit alias Rocky, Gitika alias Gitu, and a minor. Gitika is the spouse of gangster Sachin alias Bhanja, who is linked to the Kala-Jhathedi gang. According to police, the incident occurred on March 10. The accused reportedly visited a complainant's house in Jharoda Kalan and threatened them with a gun, demanding money on behalf of Sachin. Following this, the complainant and their business partners received a series of threatening phone calls. The police registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code at Bhagat Singh Nagar Police Station. In their investigation, officers analyzed CCTV footage and employed technical surveillance to identify the suspects. Gitika was found in Dulheda village in Jhajjar, Haryana, and was arrested. Subsequent raids led to the capture of Vicky, Rocky, and the minor. Investigations revealed that Vicky, who had recently been released on parole, met with Sachin in Tihar Jail. Sachin had directed him to intimidate local property dealers who were no longer paying extortion fees. Vicky arranged a car and three accomplices, contacting the victims through social media. Vicky has a criminal record, including three murder cases, while Rohit has been implicated in two murder cases. Police have recovered the vehicle used in the crime, along with two mobile phones. The investigation is ongoing.
