Four arrested for Rs 30 lakh ATM heist
Police in Rachakonda, near Hyderabad, have arrested four men from the Mewat gang. They are charged with stealing 30 lakh rupees from an ATM earlier this month. The police recovered some of the stolen money, along with the tools and vehicle used during the robbery. Early investigations pointed to the Mewat gang from Haryana as the suspects. After some initial progress, the police lost track of the gang on the Old Mumbai highway. They then formed special teams to locate the suspects in Haryana. Despite rumors that the gang members had fled to Nepal, police gathered intelligence in Haryana. This led to their arrest, and they have now been brought back to the city for further questioning.
