Four 'Barkya' gang members arrested in Pune

Police in Pune have arrested four members of the 'Barkya' gang. The gang is known for robbery, extortion, and violent crimes. They were taken into custody during a raid on Saturday. Two minors were also detained in connection with the gang. The arrested individuals include Pruthviraj alias Sahil Santosh Avhad, Anand Uttareshwar Londhe, Aryan Kailas Aglawe, and Kuldeep Ganpat Sonawane. During the operation, officers found 129 grams of stolen gold worth ₹10.31 lakh and four motorcycles valued at ₹2.40 lakh. Senior police inspector Wahid Pathan stated that these arrests have led to the solving of six different cases. The cases were reported at various police stations, including Alankar, Chaturshringi, and Hadapsar. Investigations are continuing to find other gang members and their connections.
