Four teenagers killed in SUV accident in Begusarai

Four teenagers died and five others were injured in a tragic accident in Begusarai early Sunday. An SUV crashed into a road divider on NH-31 near Khatopur at about 4 am. The teenagers were returning home from a wedding in New Zafar Nagar. They were part of a "baraat" party. The victims have been identified as Ankit Kumar (19), Abhishek Kumar (17), Saurabh Kumar (19), and Krishna Kumar (18). They were all from Pahadchak village. Ankit and Abhishek were brothers and the only children of their parents. Local police believe a tire on the SUV may have burst, causing the driver to lose control. The injured passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Witnesses reported hearing a loud crash and rushed to help. Nine people were in the SUV at the time of the accident. Grief filled the hospital as families mourned their loved ones. Jagdish Pandit, who lost his son, Krishna, expressed his heartbreak, saying he did not even know his son had gone to the wedding. The family was celebrating, but now face a deep tragedy.
