Friend of royals honors late mother with tribute song

Jules Knight, a friend of Prince William and Princess Kate, has shared a heartfelt tribute to his late mother ahead of Mother's Day. The actor and singer is set to release a new single on March 24 to honor Jane Kaye, who passed away from cancer in July 2023 at the age of 76. Jules is known for his role in the TV show Holby City and as a member of the musical group Blake. In his tribute, he described his mother as a kind and generous person, deeply involved in her community. He said they miss her especially on Mother's Day and that the song serves as a way to remember her. Jane's health began to decline in early 2023. She initially felt unwell and was diagnosed with age-related issues. Complications from a COVID-19 infection made her condition worse. Despite concerns from her family, her symptoms were initially misdiagnosed. Eventually, after significant weight loss and other troubling signs, doctors discovered a tumor on her kidney. Sadly, her diagnosis revealed she had sarcoma, a rare cancer that accounts for just 1% of all cases. After surgery failed, she was placed in palliative care and died ten weeks later. Jules Knight, now 43, left the music group Blake in 2013 to pursue acting. He has a history of performing for the British Royal Family, including the late Queen.
