FromSoftware announces Elden Ring: Nightreign set for 2025 release

FromSoftware will release Elden Ring: Nightreign in 2025, following its announcement at the 2024 Game Awards. The game can be played solo or cooperatively with up to three players, offering a new multiplayer experience. Beta tests will begin in February 2025, with sign-ups starting January 10. The first test will have limited participants, focusing on server stress testing, and may not include PC players initially. Nightreign features a survival component where players must survive three nights in The Lands Between, facing bosses and familiar enemies from both Elden Ring and Dark Souls. Cross-play will not be available.
