FTI Consulting has been chosen to temporarily manage Crozer Health, a four-hospital system in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. This decision follows a preliminary agreement between state officials and Prospect Medical Holdings, which is currently in Chapter 11 bankruptcy. FTI Consulting will receive state funding to support hospital operations, patient care, and employee salaries. The agreement requires final approval from a federal bankruptcy judge, with FTI expected to manage the facilities for at least 30 days if approved. Prospect Medical Holdings plans to sell Crozer Health to a not-for-profit group as it shifts focus to California. Currently, only two of Crozer's hospitals are operational, while others remain closed.
