G R Infraprojects wins Rs 4,262.78 crore project
G R Infraprojects is making headlines today following a significant project win. The company received a Letter of Acceptance worth Rs 4,262.78 crore from the National Highways Authority of India. This project involves the construction of the Agra-Gwalior greenfield highway. The new highway will feature six lanes and will be built in three states: Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. It includes improvements to the existing highway and aims to enhance road safety. The work will follow the DBFOT (Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Transfer) pattern under the BOT (Build Operate Transfer) toll scheme. Additionally, at a board meeting on March 7, 2025, G R Infraprojects announced an interim dividend of Rs 12.50 per share for the financial year 2024-25. The board also agreed to sell its entire stake in a subsidiary company, GR Galgalia Bahadurganj Highway. In another development, G R Infraprojects signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Assam for a new ropeway project. This project aims to connect Sonaram field to the Bhubaneshwari temple in Kamakhya, Guwahati. The investment for this project is estimated at Rs 270 crore.
