G-Star fashion brand revives presence in Australia
A popular fashion brand called G-Star has returned to Australia, exciting many fans. This brand was very common in the 2000s and 2010s, famous for its stylish denim. It was worn by many, from hip-hop fans to trendy workers. G-Star is back with its well-known 'Raw' denim, now designed with a modern touch. This revival means a lot to those who remember when G-Star was a symbol of cool style. The brand is expanding its presence in Australia and New Zealand, selling through stores like David Jones and The Iconic. They plan to open dedicated stores in the region later this year. G-Star was originally founded in the Netherlands in 1989. After entering Australia in 1998, it faced difficulties and went into administration in May 2020, leading to the shutdown of many stores. The brand has also appeared on celebrities like model Victoria Jancke and has held events, including a fashion party in Paris. Their new collection features high-quality denim that remains fashionable. Trends now include pairing raw denim with simple tops and oversized blazers. The brand's classic utility jackets are also versatile, working well with various outfits. Helder Borges, the Managing Director of Good Products & Co., mentioned that G-Star has been changing denim fashion for nearly 40 years. They aim to bring a bold, new vision to fashion lovers in Oceania.
