Gabbard's India visit strengthens US-India partnership

She attended the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi, where she spoke about the importance of peace, security, and cooperation. She emphasized that President Trump's strategy is based on realism and pragmatism to achieve these goals. In her remarks, Gabbard highlighted the longstanding friendship between Modi and Trump. She thanked Modi for inviting her to the dialogue and expressed her hope to build on the strong ties established by both leaders. Gabbard noted that this was a productive trip, enhancing collaboration between the US and India. During her travel in the Indo-Pacific, Gabbard also visited countries like Hawaii, Japan, and Thailand. She met with intelligence officials and diplomats to discuss further cooperation. On her way back to Washington, she stopped in France to engage in talks about counterterrorism efforts.
