Galaxy S25 and S25+ to feature Wi-Fi 7 connectivity upgrade
The Galaxy S25 and S25+ are set to feature Wi-Fi 7, according to recent FCC documents. This marks a significant upgrade for Samsung's flagship smartphones, as previous models like the Galaxy S24 did not support this technology. Wi-Fi 7 was first introduced with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but other models in the S24 lineup used Wi-Fi 6E due to hardware limitations. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 also lack Wi-Fi 7 support, despite having similar chipsets. With the inclusion of Wi-Fi 7 in the Galaxy S25 series, it is expected to become standard in all Samsung flagship smartphones in 2025. However, Ultra-wideband support will only be available in the S25+ and S25 Ultra.
