Galaxy Z Flip SE launch delayed due to chip issues

Samsung is preparing to release several foldable phones this year, including the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 in July. However, the launch of the cheaper Galaxy Z Flip FE could take longer. Reports indicate that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will come out several months after the Galaxy Z Flip 7. This delay is mainly due to production issues with the Exynos 2500 chip that Samsung plans to use in the device. These supply challenges have also affected the recent Galaxy S25 series, which used Qualcomm chips instead of the Exynos options. As Samsung works on resolving these chip shortages, they are also developing a new Exynos 2600 chip for future phones. While the Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to have a similar display to the Z Flip 7, it may feature a less powerful camera and other lower specs. Samsung has teased the new phone, but no official details on its launch date have been confirmed yet. Some sources suggest it could debut alongside the other foldable devices in July.
