"Gamer builds toy fighters in upcoming FPS Shelf Heroes."
In a new game called Shelf Heroes, players will take on rogue toys in a fun first-person shooter. Players can build their own toy fighter by mixing and matching different parts from popular characters. This game can be played solo or cooperatively with up to two friends. Shelf Heroes was highlighted during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase. It features exciting gameplay where players run, jump, and shoot at moving enemies. You can wishlist the game on Steam now. As you play, you can collect various weapons ranging from blasters to swords. A unique feature is the sticky hand, which helps you swing through levels and engage in melee attacks. The game includes a roguelite aspect, allowing players to choose power cards for new abilities whenever they level up. Players start their adventure in a bedroom and will explore other areas in the house and garden. Each new location comes with different challenges and offers opportunities to meet NPCs who help unveil the story behind the rogue toys. Shelf Heroes is set to enter PC Early Access in 2026.
