Gandapur and Bushra Bibi confirmed at KP Assembly speaker's residence after disappearance
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, were confirmed to be at the residence of KP Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati after going missing amid a government crackdown in Islamabad. They were accompanied by National Assembly Opposition leader Omar Ayub. Concerns about Bushra Bibi's safety were raised by her sister, Maryam Riaz Wattoo, who suggested she might have been abducted. The PTI party has suspended its protest in Islamabad, citing government actions, and plans to announce future strategies based on guidance from Imran Khan. Motorway authorities have reopened several key routes, including the Islamabad to Lahore motorway, after days of closures due to the protests. Life in Islamabad is gradually returning to normal following the unrest.
