Gangster Lovish Grover arrested after police shoot-out

Mohali police arrested a wanted gangster named Lovish Grover, 25, in a late-night shoot-out. The incident took place at a housing society in Zirakpur on Friday. Police received information about Grover's hiding spot in a flat at Shiva Enclave. They believed he was planning a major crime. A team led by Inspector Jaskawal Singh raided the flat around 9:15 PM. When police knocked, Grover opened the door but tried to close it again after seeing them. He retreated to a room and fired at the officers. In response, police shot back, hitting him in the leg. They then managed to overpower and arrest him. In the flat, police found three weapons: a Glock pistol, a rifle, and a .30 bore pistol, along with ammunition. Grover has multiple criminal cases against him, which include murder and attempted murder.
