Gardai are investigating a vandalism incident that damaged more than 20 cars parked outside their training college in Templemore, Co Tipperary. The attack occurred recently in a nearby car park, affecting mostly vehicles owned by new Garda recruits. The damage appears to have been caused by someone keying the cars. Many of the affected vehicles belonged to students who had just joined the force within the past two weeks. A few cars were also owned by experienced officers who were attending courses at the college. While the car park is not officially part of the college, students are instructed to park there. Gardai from Thurles station confirmed they are looking into the incident and have requested that anyone with information come forward. A Garda spokeswoman said, "Investigations are ongoing." She encouraged witnesses to report any information to Thurles Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line.
