Gavin Newsom buys $9.1 million home in Marin County from Hyatt heir
California Governor Gavin Newsom has purchased a home in Marin County for $9.1 million, planning to split his time between there and Sacramento. This marks his return to the Bay Area after selling his previous home three years ago. The property, bought from Hyatt Hotels heir Daniel Pritzker, was listed for $8.5 million after several price reductions. The midcentury modern house features six bedrooms, a pool, and extensive outdoor space. In addition to this new residence, Newsom owns a $3.7 million home in Fair Oaks, near the State Capitol. His current term as governor ends in 2027.
