Genshin Impact Version 5.5 adds new characters and areas
Genshin Impact Version 5.5 will launch on March 26. This update, titled "Day of the Flame's Return," brings new characters and expands the game world. The major highlights include two new playable characters. Varesa is a five-star Electro Catalyst user. She can enter a special state called Fiery Passion for increased damage. Varesa has a unique design with horns and a tail, and she loves to eat. The second character is Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm user. She is a fitness instructor with workout-themed attacks. Iansan can also heal allies while damaging enemies. The update will also expand the Natlan map. Players can now explore the area around the Great Volcano of Tollan. This new region has a hidden city and introduces a new tribe called the Collective of Plenty, which focuses on fitness competitions. Additionally, players can become a new creature called Tatankasaurus for special abilities. The update includes a new event named "Tournament of Glory in Bloom," featuring an NPC character named Ifa. Finally, new optimizations will be added, such as a boss tracker and improved Artifact leveling. Genshin Impact is free to play on various platforms, including mobile, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
