George Mason faces Samford in NIT first round

The National Invitation Tournament (NIT) is continuing with nine games on Wednesday, March 19. One of these games features George Mason facing Samford. George Mason's recent performance includes a close loss to VCU in the Atlantic 10 Tournament finals. Samford lost in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference Tournament against Furman. Fans can watch the game live on ESPN+. It will not be available on national TV. The game starts at 7 p.m. ET and will take place at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia. George Mason's Jalen Haynes will aim to maintain his impressive scoring streak of 14 games. Meanwhile, Samford will rely on their key players, Trey Fort, Jaden Brownell, and Rylan Jones. Additional NIT games on the schedule for the evening include matchups between Dayton and Florida Atlantic, as well as Saint Joseph's and UAB, all starting around the same time.
