German magician Jannick impresses on Britain's Got Talent
A contestant on Britain's Got Talent may look familiar to fans. The show has returned for a new series on ITV, featuring judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli, and Simon Cowell. On March 22, Jannick Holste took the stage with a confident performance. The 22-year-old, who describes himself as a "special, crazy and new" magician, impressed the audience by dancing to the Spice Girls' "Spice Up Your Life" while performing magic tricks with assistants. All four judges voted "yes" for Jannick. Bruno Tonioli said, “I have lost all words. It was a magic and camp extravaganza.” Alesha Dixon added, “I’ve never seen anything like this. I loved every minute of it.” Amanda Holden called the performance “brilliant and fantastic.” Jannick is not new to television. He has appeared in both the American and German versions of the talent show. In his previous performances, he combined magic with dance, gaining attention but not enough votes to reach the finals. Britain’s Got Talent is airing two months earlier this year and will run for four months. The show will only air on Saturdays, with the next episode scheduled for March 29 at 7 PM. The series will end in May, when the winner will receive a £250,000 prize and a spot in the Royal Variety Performance.
