German police arrest eight suspected members of right-wing militant group

German authorities have arrested eight suspected members of a right-wing militant group called the "Saxon Separatists." The arrests occurred during raids in Germany, Poland, and Austria, involving hundreds of officers.

The group, founded in November 2020, aimed to create a national socialist order by promoting the collapse of civilization. They engaged in paramilitary training and were found with firearms and military gear during the raids.

The group's leader, Jörg Zgorzelec, was apprehended in Poland. Prosecutors noted that the group is linked to a broader network of right-wing extremists in Germany focused on similar apocalyptic ideologies.
