Germany's top airlines offer over nine million seats
Germany's five largest airlines by seat capacity in 2025 are SunExpress, Condor, Ryanair, Eurowings, and Lufthansa. Each airline offers over nine million seats on flights to, from, and within Germany this year. SunExpress ranks fifth with nearly 9.2 million seats, primarily connecting Germany to Turkey. Condor follows with over 11.2 million seats, serving both short and long-haul destinations, including popular routes to Mexico. Ryanair offers about 20.9 million seats, focusing on international routes without domestic flights. Eurowings, with over 27.4 million seats, operates both domestic and international flights. Lufthansa leads with nearly 71.5 million seats, accounting for 28% of all airline capacity in Germany.
