Gerwyn Price continues winning streak against Luke Littler
Gerwyn Price has made a playful comment about Luke Littler after winning a darts match. Price had just secured another victory against Ryan Searle in the second round of the European Darts Trophy with a score of 6-4. He noted his impressive record against Searle and joked about his success against Littler, even though Littler wasn’t competing in the event. Price stated that he has won his last six matches against Littler, stretching back to April. He mentioned that one of the reasons for his success is that he doesn’t focus on statistics. "I just get up here and concentrate on my own game," he said. His confidence has been evident as he continues to play well in recent tournaments. Despite the teasing, Price praised Littler, calling him the best player right now and predicting he will achieve great things. He believes Littler could break the record for world titles held by Phil Taylor. "There is nobody in the PDC at the minute who can stop him," Price said. Later today, Price will face Dutch player Wessel Nijman in the last 16 of the tournament. Meanwhile, other top players like Rob Cross and Michael van Gerwen are still competing in the event.
