The New York Giants have signed outside linebacker Victor Dimukeje. This addition was announced on Tuesday and is pending a physical examination. Dimukeje, 25, was drafted in the sixth round by the Arizona Cardinals in 2021. During his time with the Cardinals, he made 67 tackles, with 42 being solo. He also recorded four sacks and had a strong performance in 2023, achieving all of his sacks in 16 games. Interestingly, one of his sacks was against the Giants in Week 2 of last season. Dimukeje also contributed significantly on special teams, playing in at least 65 percent of those snaps over the last three seasons. The Giants made this move shortly after losing linebacker Azeez Ojulari to the Philadelphia Eagles. General manager Joe Schoen hopes Dimukeje will help fill the gap left by Ojulari. Dimukeje, a former standout at Duke, aims to boost his performance as he starts this new chapter with the Giants.
