The "Most Relevant" tool aims to make searching for important emails simpler, especially in busy inboxes. Users can still use existing filter options, but now they have the choice to sort emails in two ways: “Most Recent” or “Most Relevant.” Selecting "Most Relevant" will reorder emails to show the most important ones first. Google explains that the new feature considers factors such as frequent contacts and recent interactions to prioritize emails. For instance, emails from people you often communicate with will appear higher in the search results. This should help users save time by reducing the need to look through many messages. The feature will be available for personal Gmail accounts on the web and mobile apps, with plans to expand to business accounts later.
