A mansion on the Gold Coast, known for featuring in The Bachelors, has set a new record after being sold for $16 million. This sale took place earlier this month. The property is located in Broadbeach Waters and has been popular due to its appearances on the reality TV show starring Felix Von Hofe, Thomas Malucelli, and Jed McIntosh. Previously, the mansion was under contract for $18 million in March 2024, but that deal did not finalize. Despite a $2 million decrease in price, the sale broke the record for Broadbeach Waters, which was previously held at $15.1 million. Real estate agent Michael Kollosche noted that there are few homes available in the $12 to $30 million range on the river right now. The two-storey mansion features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a gym, and an outdoor pool. Designed by Gold Coast architect Jared Poole, it offers stunning waterfront views and an expansive design of nearly 2,400 square meters. The property includes a spacious kitchen, elegant dining areas, and an outdoor entertaining space. This mansion marks a significant upgrade from previous properties used for The Bachelor franchise. Earlier seasons filmed in locations that were less expensive, such as a $6.3 million mansion in Sydney. The Gold Coast house was only used for one season of The Bachelors before production moved to Melbourne for future seasons.
