Goods train derails in Telangana causing major service disruptions

A goods train derailed in Peddapalli district, Telangana, on November 12, 2024. Eleven wagons carrying iron ore came off the tracks between Raghavapuram and Ramagundam. As a result, South Central Railway officials canceled 20 passenger trains, partially canceled four, and diverted 10. Two trains were rescheduled, and three were regulated. Efforts are ongoing to restore the track and resume normal train services.
