Google launches free Gemini Deep Research tool for users
Google has made its Gemini Deep Research tool available for free. This tool helps users understand complex topics without the hassle of searching through multiple tabs. Users can think of it as their personal research assistant, designed for in-depth research on nearly any subject. To use Gemini Deep Research, you first need to sign in using your Google account. There’s no need to create a new account. Once logged in, you can access limited features of Deep Research without any cost. Next, click on the model selector to view all available models. Select the Deep Research option to activate it. After that, type your research question or prompt into the prompt bar. Once you've entered your prompt, Gemini will outline how it plans to approach your topic. You can review this plan and suggest changes if needed. When you’re satisfied, click to start the research process. The report generation takes around five to ten minutes, depending on the topic’s complexity. You can leave the window during this time and return later. After the report is ready, you will be notified. For one recent report, Gemini checked 175 websites in about 15 minutes, showing the efficiency of the tool. If you're happy with the report, you can easily export it to Google Docs for further editing. This makes Gemini Deep Research a powerful resource for anyone needing quick, in-depth information.
